scenario: on vessel, using the app, connected to the vessel's network, more or less under deck

when the app is used there are several possibilities what happens to the coordinates

1. the coordinates used by the app are located at the home port of the vessel
2. the coordinates seem plausible
3. there are no coordinates provided to the app
